Description
Issued at San Antonio Texas T41 $100 1862 PF-7 Cr. 317 PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ
The back of this note, printed on paper watermarked CSA in vertical block letters, has a round San Antonio postal issue stamp indicating issue on April 17, 1863 as well as a large IP rubberstamp usually associated with Texas initially paying interest to January 1, 1864. It then was used to pay interest the following year by writing a 5 over the 4 in 1864. An interesting Trans-Mississippi Department issue.
